Dear Esteemed Members,
It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I address you as the President of the Navi Mumbai Orthopaedic Association. Over the years, our association has grown not only in numbers but also in the depth of its academic and social contributions. What makes NMOA truly unique is the spirit of togetherness and commitment shown by every member — senior stalwarts as well as the younger generation of orthopaedic surgeons.

As President, my vision is to ensure that our association continues to be a strong platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional excellence. We are living in a time when orthopaedics is advancing at a rapid pace, and it is our duty to stay abreast of the latest techniques, technologies, and research so that we may offer the best possible care to our patients. With this in mind, NMOA will continue to organize a wide range of academic activities — monthly meetings, clinical case discussions, workshops, hands-on cadaver courses, and our flagship annual conference, NMOACON. Each of these events has been designed to benefit members across all stages of their careers, from young consultants to experienced practitioners.

Beyond academics, we also recognize the importance of building personal connections and fostering camaraderie among members. Our association has always been more than just a professional body — it is a family. Through social gatherings, sports activities, and cultural events, we strive to nurture this bond and create a sense of belonging for every member and their families.

I firmly believe that the strength of NMOA lies in the active participation of its members. I humbly urge each one of you to contribute — by presenting cases, engaging in discussions, mentoring juniors, or simply being present and sharing your thoughts. Every effort counts, and together we can take NMOA to new heights.

As we move ahead in this academic year, let us commit ourselves to excellence in practice, humility in service, and unity in our mission. I am confident that with your support, our association will continue to shine as one of the most vibrant and respected orthopaedic bodies in the state.
